The duty of the All-Star Committee is to gather letters of intent from coaches for the various all-star teams, then submit recommendations to the Derby Little League Executive Board for approval. The All-Star Committee will also organize and operate all home games, including the Valley Tournament. The All-Star Committee will solicit other Little Leagues for participation in the Valley Tournament to be hosted by Derby Little League. It is the responsibility of the All-Star Committee to ensure volunteerism for the responsibilities of keeping accurate record of the scorebook, pitch count, scoreboard and public address system for all home games. The All-Star Committee will work in conjunction with the Concession Stand Committee, Field Maintenance Committee and Fundraising Committee to ensure all post-season games are organized effectively.
